Kroger's offers a wide variety... read more I live an hour away from Kroger's, but whenever I visit my sister, who lives nearby, I make it a point to stop by on my way home. Kroger's offers a wide variety of items that are not commonly found in Pittsburgh. I was impressed to find simple items like Knorr chicken bullion cubes (which Pittsburgh stores either don't sell or are sold out of) and Boar's Head lunch meats, some with low-sodium options. However, the reason I am writing this review is because of two exceptional employees, Sabrina and Rayna (I hope I got their names right), who went above and beyond in terms of customer service and assistance. They were incredibly kind and helpful, to the point where I felt compelled to let their boss know about their exceptional service. Despite getting stuck in traffic on my way home, I felt it was important to acknowledge these two employees. In today's world, it is rare to encounter such genuine kindness and willingness to assist customers, and these two employees truly stood out. While I doubt they will receive a raise for their efforts, their dedication and exceptional service should be recognized. I had never met them before, but their actions were a refreshing change from the norm.

The selection is outstanding but on a Sunday afternoon only 2 manned checkouts were open and the lines were 6 carts deep so naturally we have to wait or use the... read more The selection is outstanding but on a Sunday afternoon only 2 manned checkouts were open and the lines were 6 carts deep so naturally we have to wait or use the self checkout which also has a wait line. Frustration came fast as the register stops scanning at 15 items so then you must wait again for the attendant to get to you. This happens multple times as you are trying to scan your products now causing extreme anger to appear. I do not mind checking myself out but the process at Kroger is NOT customer friendly. We, as a family have decided that we will be doing the major part of our shopping elsewhere (Reasbecks) as going to Kroger has been a very unpleasant experience. Until this is resolved, we will not be using Kroger as our primary store.
