So many people rave about this place. I finally got to go and sadly, I was not impressed. I think its overpriced and over rated. Wings were average at best. A bowl of ice cream is 9 dollars! Why?? Service was great which made the experience better. Go toAbbeys though if you want great food in a bar atmosphere.
We've never ordered or ate here before but last night we both got home late and just wanted something quick but maybe be able to take for lunch the following day so I jumped on DoorDash and saw Alpha Tavern was only 3 minutes from our house. We ordered thebaked mac and cheese, the buffalo wrap and the Jamison Burger and it was all GREAT. The food was still warm when it arrived andit was only $36 for all of it excluding tip. We had a great dinner and great lunch! We will definitely be visiting soon.
It had been many years since I had been to the Alpha and things definitely have changed. The restaurant was very clean and our server was very friendly. The food was a little more expensive than k remember it being years ago but it was delicious and therewere a lot more vegetarian options
Food was excellent as always. Server was wonderful, everything was clean and nice. I thought the prices were reasonable, and the portions were plenty for me.

I recently had one of the best meals I've enjoyed in a long time. The burger was bursting with incredible flavor and cooked to perfection. Unlike most burgers you find everywhere, this one was truly unique and absolutely outstanding. It was thick, delicious, and the toppings exceeded my expectations. The fries with gravy and the onion rings were also spot-on. The meal was perfect for two people; you could easily cut the burger in half, and it would still be more than enough for one person. The size of the burger was impressive—absolute perfection.
If youre going to offer whats possibly the most expensive burger in the Valley, one would think youd use fresh, hand-formed patties. These are processed, previously frozen burgers and no amount of tasty toppings can hide that. Theres so much that I truly love about this restaurant but the burgers are a huge fail. Wings, chili, ribs, Mexican and salads are all great. Just need a REAL hamburger.
They truly exceeded our expectations! We received extra French fries and an entire additional bag of chips with our nachos. They also thoughtfully packed all the nacho ingredients separately to prevent them from becoming soggy. Alpha Tavern is simply outstanding!
Absolutely amazing! The servings are large, giving you great value for your money. I'll definitely be ordering again!
The meal description promises meatballs, sausage, and pot roast, but the last two times I've ordered, I only received meatballs. Paying $20 for spaghetti and meatballs feels overpriced. I do not recommend this.

Really good food. Had the chicken noodles. Daughter had lasagna. Both very good. I had coleslaw as well and it was great. Can eat inside or outside or sit in the tavern.
