I decided to check this place because I worked half a day and needed some lunch, not disappointed. Warren The Ale House has a great bar and more than enough table seats. I started my meal with her buffalo cheese curds (obtained in Buffalo not on the side), which were amazing. If you can treat spices, this is for you. I then got the adult grilled cheese with chicken tortilla soup, both with incredible flavors. I'm a h... View all feedback.
What A Hoover doesn't like about Warren's Ale House:
I went on a Sunday afternoon and it was not busy. The staff was very friendly. This is the type of place you go to sit and enjoy your food. There was alot of outside seating, which is great when the weather is nice. I had the schnitzel sandwhich. It wasreally good. The red cabage sauerkraut had a nice crunch to it. The red apple slices on it provided a surprising sweetness thatbalanced out the flavors. The fries were... View all feedback.
For my dinner, I chose one of the specials: sautéed Lake Superior whitefish. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked, served with a flavorful mix of pasta and vegetables, which had just the right amount of seasoning and a kick from the red pepper flakes. A delightful bonus was that I received two generous fillets, enough to take home for another meal! My wife ordered the Burgatory burger, which was also good and large enough for her to take half of it home. However, the fries were disappointing and slightly overcooked. In my experience, when fries are made from fresh-cut potatoes, using the wrong type can lead to them being soggy and overcooked. The drinks were nothing to write home about; I had a bottle of Edmund Fitzgerald, one of my favorites, while my wife enjoyed a rum and coke, which was part of a drink special. Overall, I would still definitely recommend this restaurant, but I'd suggest opting for something other than the fries.
I visited the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon, and it was quite empty. The staff members were very friendly. This is the kind of place where you can sit back and savor your meal. There was plenty of outdoor seating, which is perfect for nice weather. I ordered the schnitzel sandwich, and it was delicious. The red cabbage sauerkraut had a nice crunch, and the slices of red apple added an unexpected sweetness that balanced the dish beautifully. The fries were thin-cut and extremely flavorful. Overall, I really enjoyed the combination of flavors.
Delicious food with healthier options! I was pleasantly surprised by the variety at this Ale House. I really enjoyed my salmon with riced cauliflower.
Service was a bit slow so we moved to the bar. Great service at the bar. Highly recommend the Chicken Keto Bowl. So full of flavor. My husband had the Garlic Shrimp Tacos. He didn't think there was any garlic and to be honest the Shrimp looked like itwas out of can. We definitely won't be ordering those again. We ordered the Italian Beef Eggrolls. They were just ok. We'vedefinitely had better. I would definitely be back for the CKB.
Chose Warrens Ale House for Mother?s Day brunch before heading to the arboretum because they took reservations. Our party of 8 was sat right away. Service was a little slow, but expected with the crowds today. Server was very friendly. They struggledwith temps of our food, but otherwise things were pretty tasty. Pretzel and cheese curds were good, Brie was underwhelming. TheChilaquiles were excellent. The Broke Yoke was ok but the pork belly tasted like dry chicken. The potatoes that accompaniedit were cold. The shrimp Benedict didn?t have any hollandaise sauce, just egg yolks. The French toast came with very coldsausage, which the server was quick to replace. Maybe lunch choices would have been better than brunch.
