Reviews - Max's Kosher Cafe And Marketplace
Reviews summary
Nestled in a strip mall, this restaurant boasts an eclectic atmosphere that some may find off-putting, yet it captivates patrons with its outstanding falafel and shawarma. Diners rave about the freshness of the falafel, made to order, and the expansive salad bar that complements their hearty sandwiches. While the decor may reflect a dingy cafeteria vibe and service can occasionally be brisk, the culinary offerings overshadow these quirks. Known for its authentic flavors and affordable prices, it stands out as a must-visit for anyone in the area, making it a beloved spot among locals and visitors alike.

Five stars for most authentic falafel and wide salad choices in the area. If your falafel isn't complete without lefet (pickled turnip and onions, this is the place. (Can't comment on schwarma, I'm a veg. No stars for dingy 1950s-cafeteria interior and sometimes surly service. Go for the food, not the atmosphere. View all feedback.

This strip-mall shop is the strangest, dumpiest restaurant I've ever been in America, but the Shawarma sandwich was absolutely fantastic! the sandwich assembly staff was really helpful and patient. the floor had flown torn, various materials were partially hidden behind black curtains, and there were only a few tables along the wall of a large open surface. strange and eye-catching! a star for the place but I say again, the Shawarma sandwich, with a falafel above, were fabulous! go to the five star sandwich!
It was a tradition to take the new employee to Max's for lunch, and I was the new guy unsure of what to order. The other colleagues ordered for me, and I was amazed by the food.

This restaurant accepts both cash and credit cards and offers plenty of free parking in the parking lot. Since the nearby Max restaurant will soon be permanently closed, we decided to give this place a try.

Delicious casual kosher diner. The falafel was especially good, and the shwarma looked amazing. Coming back soon to get that. Prices online were not accurate, I uploaded a photo of new prices.
This strip mall shop is the weirdest, dumpiest restaurant I 've ever been to in America, but the shawarma sandwich was absolutely fantastic! The sandwich assembly staff were really helpful and patient. The floor had ripped up tiles, miscellaneous stuff was stored partially hidden behind black curtains, and there were just a few tables along the wall of a large open area. Weird and dumpy! One star for the place. But I 'll say again, the shawarma sandwiches, with a falafel on top, were fabulous! G
