Maverik Adventure's First Stop

The prices are decent, the store is clean, and the workers are nice. What more do you want? It's a good place to stop in and get gas and a snack. They even offer ready made food and coffee.

I went back to return a set of headphones I bought which were defective. I had already bought a replacement pair so I wanted a refund on them. I was dissatisfied to hear I could not receive a refund as it's not there policy to refund, only replace. As well when I came to the counter the employee was on his phone not paying attention and when I got his attention he told me to wait while he finished his text message. I get that some things are important but my overall experience was really bad.

This is a great store they have pretty much anything a traveler needs. I used to work here and its still my favorite place in Wheatland.

I arrived at the restaurant and noticed the employees were chatting and laughing while I patiently waited at the register. After a few minutes, a young lady finally acknowledged my presence and came over to help me. I requested a $50 charge for my gas pump and handed her a $50 bill, but she informed me that she couldn’t accept it. I explained that I intended to use the full amount, but she still refused my cash, saying it was too large. When did businesses start rejecting cash in this economy? She mentioned the possibility of it being counterfeit and said it was too much to keep in the register. I just don’t get it!
