I hate to leave a bad review on a local business that has been in the community for such a long time, but the last time we went to Pietras, the dishes were abso... read more I hate to leave a bad review on a local business that has been in the community for such a long time, but the last time we went to Pietras, the dishes were absolutely filthy. the water glasses were disgusting. It looked like they were sitting in filthy dishwater and handed to us before being washed. The same with the silverware. It was really bad. The pizza wasn't bad, but wasn't great. The food was handmade, homecooked, and very delicious. Reminded me of home. The Alfredo sauce had to have been homemade based on textures and flavors. A little oily but soo good. Very homey small town vibes here. Very personal and everything was fresh. This is not a place to come in a hurry though. Since everything seemed made to order, it will take a little bit longer but worth the wait. My shells were slightly cold in the middle but thats okay, I took the cold one home for leftovers and it was just as good heated up. They did serve bread with the entrees. The house salad was average and made with romaine, croutons, carrots, etc. No balsamic vinegarette but offered honey mustard. Hoping to return for a more paced dinner and not when we are in a hurry. Thank you! Vegetarian options: Not a whole lot of options but was very accomidating.
