Some found the food to be average and the portion sizes to be small, while others were impressed with the delicious and imaginative dishes. The service was described as attentive and friendly by some, while others felt rushed during their meal. The restaurant was praised for offering local beers and a great selection of wines, as well as for their attention to cleanliness during the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite some negative feedback, many customers highly recommended the restaurant for its delicious food, great drinks, and excellent service.
Large eating, service and general experience. this experience reminds me of what it is to eat.
Nice atmosphere, talented culinary team and efficient service.
First time trying this place. We’ll be back! Maybe the best pork chop I’ve ever had.
What a fantastic place to dinner for a first date, I cannot recommend warm enough.
We always love West 29th, in fact we had our rehearsal dinner there, and supported the restaurant with lots of take out over the pandemic. . We decided to grab dinner on a whim, and we were slightly disappointed by this particular visit. The food took an exceptionally long time to come out, and there was no explanation…and instead a bit of low-key blaming us for ordering a medium well burger…the waitress kept coming by and telling us it was taking longer in order to get that burger cooked well, it felt strange. Once our food came out, she asked “is your burger cooked to your liking?” Almost felt like another comment to blame us for the long wait. It took nearly 30 mins between our appetizer course and our entree course. It felt like something was potentially lost in translation or our order had never been put in, but there was no ownership from the waitress for whatever it was that actually happened, we love this place and we will be back, this was a noteworthy lapse in our typical wonderful experiences at this neighborhood gem, so I felt it was important to let you all know. Thanks!
