As others have noted, the prices and portion sizes are unbeatable. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, offering traditional New England cuisine. The dinner felt like a five-course feast, so definitely arrive hungry! Every dish was exceptional and served piping hot, which can be tricky with so many courses. I enjoyed the lamb, while my husband opted for the pork tenderloin special—he even had enough left to take home for two additional meals! Our server was incredibly friendly and energetic. Despite being busy, she always approached us with a smile and took the time to ensure we had a great experience.

I would like to note that the portions are quite large, but that wasn't an issue for me as everything was so delicious that I ended up finishing it all—just a minor observation. One area that could use a bit more creativity is the cocktail and beer selection. I will definitely be returning!

She was very a... read more We had a delightful dinner on the porch, with Melissa as our server. As someone in the hospitality industry myself, I can say she is exceptional. She was very attentive and cheerful. Everyone enjoyed their drinks and meals, which were served piping hot, just as I like my food! We all cherished our lovely fall afternoon, surrounded by the stunning, colorful mountain views. Keep up the fantastic work!

We made a reservation in advance and requested preferred seating.... read more We had intended to celebrate our anniversary at this restaurant because of its great reviews. We made a reservation in advance and requested preferred seating. However, when we arrived, we were seated next to the bathroom. After asking to be moved, we were offered a table in the entryway on the front porch. At that point, we decided to leave. Fortunately, the wonderful staff at Spoletos in Northampton came to the rescue. Despite being busy and without a week’s notice for a good table, they accommodated us at a lovely table by the fire. We won't be returning to the Whately Inn.
