It's on the greasy spoon side... read more If looks were all that mattered, this would be a 5-star diner. When you first see it from the road, you can't wait to eat inside. It's on the greasy spoon side of things, with everything a little rough around the edges. That doesn't give you high hopes for the food, but it is made fresh, which is a delight. The corned beef hash doesn't come out of a can. It's actually chopped up corned beef. The biscuits and gravy has chunks of real, flavorful sausage in it. The pancakes are fluffy and huge. The menu is small, at least in the wee hours when we went. The service is prompt. In the area, there aren't a lot of 24-hour diners. It absolutely delivers what you want from a diner in the middle of the night.
