There seemed to be only two people w... read more I believe this restaurant should be shut down. This is my second visit with my family, and once again, it was nearly empty. There seemed to be only two people working behind the counter, and the woman who took my order spent the whole time on her phone! The prices are exorbitant! I ordered chicken tenders, but they were dry and burnt, so I had to ask for a new order. The second batch was just as bad—I couldn’t even pull them apart. I ended up throwing everything away. And for the second time in a row, they still didn’t have biscuits on the menu? Seriously? I won't be returning again!

For instance, the jerk chicken dinner is advertised for $13.99 online, but I was charged $14.55 at the counter. When I inquired about the discrepancy, the employee informed me that the difference was due to taxes. I accepted her explanation at the time, but after doing the math at home, I realized that's not accurate. I was overcharged an extra $2.50 on each menu item, except for one. If this practice is repeated with just ten customers, that's an additional $25 profit for the business. This feels unfair. I support small businesses, but it's important not to take advantage of customers. I hope the management addresses this issue.

The price seemed a b... read more Ordered the 12 piece family mealchicken was very crispy with good flavor. The sides were fantastic (mac&cheese, baked beans and plantains). The price seemed a bit high but after seeing the portion size and 5-6 pieces of corn bread, it was worth it. I gave it 5 stars based on the food and portion size but I did experience some of the same complaints as othersgirl at the counter was on her phone the entire time. It took 30 minutes to make the chicken but now I know to order ahead.
