Mud Ducks Cafe - Whanganui

I had a lovely GF ham and cheese toastie. I’m not sure if it’s because I was there on a Sunday and the staff were very young but the young waiter was very vague about their safety measures for coeliacs. When I was given my food the waiter said “here is your coeliac toastie”. I still don’t know if they made it carefully to prevent cross contamination.

Lots of gluten free brunch lunch options, including a food number of vegetarian options. Staff were knowledgeable of coeliacs. Great location by the river.

Thai green curry was tasty but not too hot. GF selection could be a bit better.

Wonderful place by the river. Great food.
