We had booked a table downstairs as o... read more Absolutely brilliant service from the excellent Katie B. What an outstanding team member, as nothing was too much trouble. We had booked a table downstairs as one of our party has mobility issues, and Katy was so helpful and patient. We had a great meal, attentive service and a really great way to enjoy a birthday gathering. Will we be back? Without a shadow of a doubt. Many congratulations to Katie B and the kitchen team too, as well as the other team members. Great onsite parking too.

Restaurant was clean and had a nice overall vibe. Pub/bar downstairs was nice with a wide variety of alco/non-alco drinks at decent prices.

There is a good choice of... read more Fantastic food and service! We had dinner and breakfast as we were staying at the Premier Inn that shares a site with this Beefeater. There is a good choice of food on the menu and breakfast is buffet style but your hot food order is taken and prepared freshly, you can eat as much as you want. The staff are lovely! There is also a garden which has a nice setting by the Basingstoke Canal.

We're on a tight budget. But this was frankly atrocious food. I ordered the beef Sunday Roast, and if it had anything to commend it, it was it took me back 40 years to my school dinners (which no doubt cost 2 shillings a head versus £12.99 or so). Horrible, wretched and best forgotten.
