As a Pittsburgher who knows their pierogies, I can confidently say Forgotten Taste Pierogies in Wexford is one of the best local spots to grab a dozen (or two)! With over 20 companies and countless churches making pierogies in the area, it can be hard to stand out, but Forgotten Taste does just that. Their pepperoni and cheese pierogies are a must-try – seriously delicious! The owner is incredibly friendly and has su... View all feedback.
What Lawn King doesn't like about Forgotten Taste Pierogies Phone Number, Reservations, Reviews:
I gave it 3.5 stars. The food is decent quality overall. I prefer perogies to be lightly fried. Not so much a negative, just personal preference. Soft and mushy perogies, I am not a fan of. The other menu items are good. Place is clean and neat, but smallish inside. View all feedback.
I love just about everything they have. The sausage, stuffed cabbage, haluski, and the perogies. The only thing I have an issue with is the sauerkraut. The kraut is not tempered with Zucker (sugar) like most Europeans do. Other than this it's amazing and well worth the visit.
Found this place by accident on Google Maps and was going to be in the area, so I wanted to try it. Was not disappointed. Absolutely amazing! Big portions. Nice people. I had the #15 pierogi with goulash. Comes in a plastic dish, so easy to take leftovers with you (if there are any). I want to eat my way through the rest of the menu. Go check them out!!
Great selection. Handmade. Pricey, so we only get them on occasion.
Loved the Perogies, potato and onion, and potato and jalapeño! The haluski was fantastic as well!
Delicious pierogis! I picked up 2 dozen today and the service was fast and very friendly. I try to stop here every time I’m staying in the Wexford area.
