Sharky's - Wexford

I found this restaurant by searching for gluten-free options nearby. It's rare to find gluten-free fish and chips that are this good. I was pleasantly surprised! The portions were large and the service was very friendly.

Typically, this restaurant is top-notch and we have been loyal patrons since their opening, always singing their praises. Unfortunately, our recent experience was disappointing. The food was cold, soggy, and lacking in flavor. While we acknowledge the dreary weather in October, they must strive for better. They can't afford to disappoint regular and seasonal customers.

The french fries were decent, but I was surprised that the salt and vinegar were provided in packets. I have never been to a chip shop where they don't offer vinegar to soak the chips in. Sharky's Rosslare is in a great location and I hope they start providing vinegar for soaking chips like other chip shops do. It's nice that they have a gluten-free menu, but I would also like to see a vegan menu offered. Regardless, I will be satisfied with just the vinegar for now! As someone who frequently visits Rosslare, I am excited to soon enjoy chips soaked in vinegar at Sharky's.

The chips were soggy and the burger was terrible. It's unbelievable that they can serve such awful food and people actually pay for it. They need to improve their quality or just shut down.

I recently tried the fish and chips at this restaurant and I must say, it is one of the best I have ever had. The staff were so friendly and mentioned that they have been open for 20 years. I will definitely be returning as a customer for the next 20 years. Great job!
