out of for their fish chips! Enjoyed their fare along the Quay watching the moonrise yesterday (Sunday August which added to the experience. The server was more than happy to provide a wooden fork, napkins ketchup upon request. My only qualm was their early closing time of as I was lucky to have made it there before then! Have always enjoyed the food here, but lately everything is so greasy, the chips and rissoles in particular, they were so greasy on the last two occasions that the grease came through the paper wrap to our clothes (when having on your lap to eat while enjoying the sunshine) plus the paper was stuck to the chips, which were in one big clump when we opened the wrapper because they were so greasy. The food at Premier in Wexford is delicious. I recently stayed in town for a week and visited the restaurant twice. The chips, chicken, and hamburgers were excellent and had that authentic "chippy" taste. I would rate it 10/10.
We ordered fish and chips and received a generous portion of chips and a delicious piece of fish. The prices were comparable to other places that serve fish and chips. The service was a bit slow due to it being a busy location.
I ordered a chicken tender box meal and the chips that came with it were small and not crispy as advertised. Considering the price I paid, I expected better quality. I have been a regular customer at this restaurant for years, but today's experience was disappointing. I am usually satisfied with my meals here, but today was an exception. I have heard some negative things about this place recently, which is concerning. I rarely leave reviews, but I was so unhappy with my meal today that I don't plan on returning for a while.
