Today we spontaneously ordered a Pizza Leonardo and a pizza bread with garlic. The service person was a young, somewhat inexperienced person who made an effort, but didn't really come across as competent. We ordered both things on site and had to wait about 30 minutes. The ambience we saw in the meantime wasn't really inviting either. When we got home, we discovered that the pizza bread was a bit dry, not even brushed with a little olive oil, nothing, the garlic fart dry and black. The pizza was also unbelievable, the pepperoni sausage was charred and just not appetizing. The price is definitely too expensive. Sorry but next time we won't go there, there are definitely better options. Sorry, but that's really the truth.
Haus Italia in Nauborn (formerly Kanone, near the Siebenmühlen Valley) For all those curious who haven't been since the renovations and new ownership: I walked in and was immediately impressed, especially if I remembered the old place. Formerly a hall, now a dining room. Formerly a dining room, now a separate space for up to 30 people. Additional conservatory: The roof can be opened in two sections, and the windows can be lowered. Perfect for the summer months. I had the lunch special: lasagna with a side salad for €9.50. Absolutely delicious. The food was delicious. We had steak, schnitzel, lasagna, and pizza. We thought everything was deliciously prepared and, above all, served. As a complimentary starter, we were offered olives with oil and bread. Considering the restaurant was full, the food arrived very quickly. We were also given a delicious complimentary liqueur at the end. It was also very child-friendly!
