Great value, too, I suspect it is subsidised... coffee is 60c

In dem Gebäude gibt es regelmäßig Ausstellungen von bekan... read more Das Leitz Kaffeeliegt unmittelbar vor dem architektonisch sehr ansprechenden Gebäude von Leica Kamera. In dem Gebäude gibt es regelmäßig Ausstellungen von bekannten Foto Künstlern. Im Anschluss empfiehlt sich ein schöner Kaffee und ein Stück Kuchen in Leitz Kaffee. Da die Ausstellung auch am Sonntag geöffnet hat bedaure ich es sehr, dass das Café sonntags geschlossen hat. Aber mit dem Neubau des Hotels gibt es eine Chance dass ich das vielleicht anders.

Es ist schön, auch mal etwas anderes, besonderes zu bekommen. Immer Wechsel im Angebot und immer etwas dabei was einem schmeckt. Das Ambiente ist eben modern, aber sehr ansprechend. Das Personal ist eben auch etwas modern und unkonventionell... Aber die Kuchen bzw. Torten sind es wert! Nicht das erste und nicht das letzte mal dort gewesen!

Unfortunately, the food was nothing special at all and the service was bad. We had to wait long before we got the food. We ordered a bottle of wine, but two glasses. When we asked where the bottle was, we got a new bottle while we had to pay for the glasses. We asked for water. waiter recommended cleaned tap water, which cost 5-6 euros. I'm not a big cook myself, but my pasta is definitely better than tjhe at Café Leitz. I think 121 euros for two people is far too much for what we had.
