Certainly the best and friendliest Chinese takeaway in the area!!The Salt and Pepper Chicken hasnt been matched anywhere in the UK for me so far, and the roast pork fried rice is also very tasty View all feedback.

I have been dining at this restaurant for years since it reopened in the eighties. However, during my recent visit, I was disappointed with the lack of flavor in my usual order. The sauce was bland and unsatisfying. If I had eaten it at the restaurant, I would have requested a replacement. I had a great experience at this restaurant. The delivery service was top-notch, perfect for a lunch meal. The price per person ranged from £30 to £40. The food was a 5 out of 5, as was the service and atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the Egg Fried Rice, Special Fried Rice, Sweet and Sour King Prawn Balls, Pancake Roll, and Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls.
This restaurant is the best in the area. Dave and all the staff are exceptional! I have never had a negative experience here over the years. Ordered a takeaway from Mayflower for the first time today. The owner and his wife were very kind and helped me pick dishes which would satisfy everyone's tastes waiting back home. I was staring at the menu for a wee while. The food kung po chicken, sweet and sour chicken balls, special fried rice, mini spring rolls and beef, black bean and pepper was delicious.
