After church, I visited Coke Float with my wife and children for some ice cream. The young staff inside were not wearing hairnets, gloves, or masks, even though they were required at the time. Hygiene didn’t seem to be a priority there. The ice cream was tasty, but the hamburger was made with soy protein, which wasn’t clearly stated on the menu. This ice cream shop in the heart of West Virginia offers the most reasonable prices I've come across. Their vanilla soft serve is simply outstanding—smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. I just stopped by after driving four hours to and from college, and I'm so glad I did. It's definitely a hidden gem!
The service was quick, and the prices were spot on. My wife ordered something called "twinkles," which she hadn't been able to find since childhood. It's a crispy, brittle cone. It wasn't served hot, but I think it was still quite good.
I had a wonderful time at this restaurant, especially enjoying the Mississippi mud dessert. My experience was even more delightful when I found out they also had a pineapple milkshake on the menu. I couldn't help but grab one to take with me!
