The service at this restaurant is fantastic, very accommodating, and the food is delicious. It's a must-visit every year after the whiskey festival. The dining experience is top-notch, perfect for dinner. The price per person is $100 or more, but it's worth it. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a rating of 5. I highly recommend trying the Cinnamon Bread Pudding and Herb Crusted Salmon. View all feedback.
What Juanita Pacocha doesn't like about Avalon Cafe:
The food was above average, but our waitress was visibly irritated from the onset. Whether it was at our large group or something else, I have no idea. Our first time here was better. Sides could use an increase in portion size, at least for the potatoes. We'll likely come back again. I'll update my review when we do. View all feedback.
We were there last Saturday at 6:30 a.m. for dinner. we were so excited because we heard nothing but great things about you. but our experience was far from it. you had booked from my bachelor party. but the party was out of control. devastating and ruined all the experiences. her waiting staff was so frustrated and hastened. you could say it with her body language. they were exhausted. again, from their control. we get our food, I ordered to get away and my partner ordered a medium steak. the meat was overcooked. the steak was also medium-sized, the one who escaped, when I talked to my fellow workers this morning, they were shocked. they said they always had great food there. it led me to believe that it was the party that influenced the quality of food. I know you're making a lot of money on the parties, but I know that three more tables were in the same room as we weren't happy. a table said I don't think I'd go back as it is with us. when we eat at such a place, we pay for the experience. I feel like their restaurant can't accommodate big parties and keep it under control as well as individual guests who lose them a lot of repetition business. Anyway, I just wanted to share this with them, just because we were very disappointed on Saturday with our experience in their restaurant.
Was a wonderful lunch with a friend. There was such a great selection on the menu! My food was amazing cooked to perfection and very fresh. The atmosphere is very nice, easy to have a conversation

Chill atmosphere in an old, nostalgia renovated house. Love the deck when it's nice enough to eat outside. Had good service and the food was delicious. The bread served with the meal is amazing too! Lots of drink and food options. It was a great way to start off our afternoon visiting the quaint small town of Weston, MO.The Whiskey Snug at Celtic Ranch and McCormicks are also places I'd highly recommend if you want a relaxing day of unique liquor and shopping options. People are super friendly too!
We are hooked on this restaurant. Very thoughtful and purposeful menu with delicious but also healthier options. Our service was also outstanding. We made a dinner reservation and ended up back the next day for brunch!
