The sushi is priced based on the distance the raw fish travels from Japan. They don’t serve traditional fried tempura here; in fact, nothing is fried at all. It costs around $6 for a bowl, offering a unique experience to enjoy the decor and appreciate the service. However, I personally prefer more traditional options that come with a lower price point. Expensive for my experience of Japanese. I like cooked options overdraw ones or torched). Enjoyed the miso, edamame, avocado roll, salmon roll , and tempura roll not traditional as in fried). Service was good. Ambience also . View all feedback.
Brought my cousin for her birthday and got the omakase experience, it was delicious and the decor was beautiful
We were visiting town and decided to try this place. We were dining with our kids and they made us feel very comfortable. The service was excellent and food was amazing. (We did the omakase experience) Chef Michael is very talented and we will be back when we come back to Montreal.
This is definitely one of the best authentic japanese restaurant in the city, although pricier than the other fantastic ones I tried before. The servers are very professional and friendly. Almost all our orders hit the spot, aside from the hamachi sushi in the sushi platter. i think it was not that fresh as it has a fishy aftertaste. Also when we reserved a table, we said it was my bday (because it was! . but there was no extra gesture that was given. I didnt want to expect, but they asked of there is an occasion and with other expensive restaurant, they will give you something extra like a special note to celebrate your day.
My friend invited me to the birthday. one of the best sashimi’s ive ever ate! there is an unhappy one I have forgotten what it is, but it has just met in mine.
The food wasn't on par. The service was pretty slow.
