I specifically come to this restaurant for their Vietnamese coffee, which is delicious and strong. I also enjoy their meat-filled pastries - I can't remember the name, but they are delicious! It's definitely worth the price. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Gala Bakery:
This bakery was a favorite of mine during my childhood, but it now just seems average. The chicken pate chauds are the standout items. The banh mi sandwiches are $4 and nothing special. The ca phe sua was good. View all feedback.

This restaurant serves some of the best coffee in the western hemisphere. Unfortunately, they are currently closed due to the pandemic.

I am visiting from Texas and my cousin lives behind the plaza where Gala Bakery is. My family from here kept saying their coffee was good so... yaaaa know I got to try that coffee. 😠mannnnn.... Their coffee is spot on... like it’s one of the best I have ever tried. I would likely come back to Gala whenever I’m on vacation to Westminster. ðŸ˜
The bánh su (chou in french) is unique better than anywhere else. The custard cream inside is lighter than other places that are to sweet. At $0.90 a piece is not cheap compared to other bakery, but the quality matches the price and it's worth it.
