I would like to commend this pub for its fantastic beer selection; the Ghost Ship was truly outstanding! What Hans doesn't like about White Horse Inn:
Booked a table at 12.00 for 18.30 the same night, sept. the 2nd. When we came in at 18.25, after our ride from Ipswich 45 min and asked for our table, they looked at us as if we told a joke, no table, no sorry at all and they turned around and serving people at the bar, as if we were nobody. Beautiful location for a lunch-pie. a very good pint of ghost ship. very friendly bar staff.
Had a lovely Sunday lunch here in September 2021. Succulent role of pork belly with crackling, veg and black pudding mash . The staff were friendly and attentive too. Good range of Adnams beers at reasonable prices . Dog friendly.
Really good quality food in a friendly local pub. Good quality ingredients, cooked to order, fresh veggies done just right, and lovely desserts done just right home cooked and prepared. They focus on quality, not on overloading your plate. Really tasty, and really excellent value. All this, plus a village green and a duckpond, who could want for more! We love this place.
Nice pub with very good accommodating staff. We had had a long walk across Dunwich heath that took longer than expected. The pub finished serving lunch at 2.30pm. I called on my way there at 2.34 and they very happily took my order for 4 x fish and chip that was ready on arrival.
Such a friendly place. Lots of space inside and plenty outside too. Even seats beside the village pond where you can sit and watch the ducks in peace and tranquility. Best food at reasonable prices too.
