In this area, it can be tough to find top necks or cherry stones; most places tend to only offer little necks or very small clams. Here, the top necks on the half shell were just the right size and incredibly fresh. We also tried the steamed top necks, which were more similar in size to cherry stones. We ordered a half bucket, and it was enormous—containing at least 20 clams! Unfortunately, the other dishes we tried did not live up to the same standard. My husband’s fried fisherman's platter was just average, and my horseradish-crusted cod had a slightly fishy taste. I ended up having to throw away the leftovers the next morning because they had a bad smell, suggesting they might not have been fresh to begin with. While we might consider returning for the clams, it’s unlikely that we’ll come back for a full dinner.

They were out of several items that were advertised on the menu. The New England chowder lacked flavor and had a watery consistency. Additionally, there were no scallops or Thai shrimp available, even though they were listed on the menu. This place used to have a good reputation, but it seems like something has gone wrong. What happened?
