Akai Lounge Westfield

Incredible! The cocktails and sushi/sashimi at this restaurant are truly excellent. It wasn't busy during lunch on a weekday when my husband and I walked in, which was perfect for taking photos for Yelp. I was greeted with a smile as I sipped on my delicious Akai Gold Rush whisky cocktail with canton ginger and lemon juice. The Akai Tuna Salad, Super Rainbow Roll with eel, and fresh sashimi platter were all perfectly balanced and delicious. We were so impressed that we had no room left for dessert. I can't wait to bring my friends and family here! Cheers! Note: The service is excellent and they have a full bar. The menu is extensive, including options like Omakase, Katsu, Noodles, and a great children's menu with Teriyaki, tempura, and udon.

Great sushi. I consider myself a sushi critic and the sushi here is really good! The roll combinations are perfectly thought through and the fish is fresh.

It's been an hour, and my wife's still saving food. She comes from a family of NYC Restauranteurs, so she knows what she's talking about. I also enjoyed the food and my palate is very demanding, even without the restaurant experience.

But worth it. Unbelievable employees. Delicious sushi. Really eclectic menu options. Excellent bartenders, the drinks are always perfection.
