She hates the city and never thought she would... read more This review is from my Grandma; She mentioned how the zeppoles here we’re even better than Boston’s little Italy. She hates the city and never thought she would find a zeppole as good as Mikes in Rhode Island. She said this one however is dreamy and unforgettable. Apparently these are seasonal, I’m not a very good Italian. The cream puffs were also the best she’s had she said and grandpa loved the blueberry cheesecake.

They w... read more Had a wonderful experience at Vesta Bakery today! I tried every chocolate item they had and grabbed a bunch of croissants. First off, the croissants—wow. They were the most buttery and delightfully light croissants I’ve ever had. Fun fact: my cat even enjoyed the croissants, which is a big deal since she usually only goes for KFC biscuits and scones. So, croissants are officially on her list now! (Granted, this is a rare treat for her.) All the flaky pastries were fantastic! I also picked up a loaf of Italian bread, which was wonderfully hearty and absolutely delicious. As for the chocolate treats: I sampled the raspberry chocolate heart, mousse bomb, hostess cupcake, and peanut butter chocolate cupcake. I didn’t try them all in one sitting, but stole a bite from the PB cupcake and the mousse bomb. The mousse bomb was incredibly rich, with a hard chocolate shell that was fun to crack open to get to the creamy mousse inside. Seriously rich, but smooth and not overpowering. The PB cupcake lived up to its name—deliciously peanut buttery! Lastly, the staff were very friendly. I’m definitely looking forward to coming back!
