Perks Corks - Westerly
Perks Corks
Description
This neighborhood gem blends a cozy coffee‑shop atmosphere with craft cocktails and a creative menu. Plush sofas, small tables and a full bar encourage lingering conversations; vegetarian choices are plentiful and martinis are a highlight. Service is warm and friendly but can be slow, and reservation enforcement sometimes limits walk‑ins. Parking is generally available though crowded on summer nights; occasional gaps in entertainment (open‑mic schedule) and limited staff are noted. Still, it's a welcoming spot for cocktails, coffee and casual meals.

Only one star from my perspective because no vegan options on menu. I will update when menu changes. Lets be on the right side of the future, chef!
Key lime pie in a cup! Stopped in for an after dinner drink and dessert, all in the same glass.
I do wish they would open the "open mic" nights even when songwriters aren't performing; some entertainment is better than none. The only minor annoyance I have is with a vocalist who doesn't play an instrument. The staff has always been accommodating, though they can seem a bit reserved if they don't know you (it's a small-town bar after all). I think that’s just part of New England; they warm up if you strike up a conversation. As for parking, there’s plenty of street parking and a public lot, but it can be limited during busy times because of nearby businesses. It’s best to carpool or take an Uber on summer nights and weekends.
We had a wonderful time! The food, drinks and service were great. I would definitely go back!
It is a very cozy coffee shop atmosphere. A few tall tables, but mostly sofas and chairs around tables. Interesting menu of creative choices. Both my companion and I had the Cobain sandwich. It was multi grain bread, brie, spinach, artichoke hearts and prosciutto. It was very tasty but the prosciutto was stringy and/or fatty at times.
