The cod Reuben is incredibly delicious! It's definitely one of my all-time favorite sandwiches. The menu is excellent, and the setting is gorgeous. The tin ceilings and elegant bar enhance the charm of the restaurant.

We started our meal with both the crab cakes and stuffed clam cakes. The crab cakes were heartier, but both dishes were comforting and satisfying. Although some reviews suggested that Brazen Hen isn't particularly kid-friendly, we decided to take the plunge anyway. To our surprise, despite the clean, dark, and glossy decor, our child was provided with a coloring sheet placemat and brand new crayons to keep them entertained. The kids' menu was in line with the restaurant's theme, and I was pleasantly surprised when my child opted for shepherd's pie instead of the usual chicken tenders and fries. Our server was friendly and attentive to everyone at our table, no matter their age.

I dined here for the first time and really appreciated the pleasant atmosphere, which primarily features Irish cuisine. My husband ordered the meatloaf dinner; it was tasty, but I felt it was a bit overpriced for meatloaf. I opted for the Caesar salad with chicken, but unfortunately, the chicken was undercooked, so I had to send it back. For starters, he had the Guinness French onion soup, while I chose the pretzels with beer cheese and spicy mustard, which were outstanding. The pretzels themselves were fantastic as well. Overall, the service was average, and the menu prices seemed a bit high for what we received.

In the culinary world, the word WOW implies exceptional ambiance, food, and service. The Brazen Hen--now one of my new favorite restaurants--gets that rating on all counts. Bonus points for serving Bangers and Mash, a rarity in the Ocean State. Oh, and did I mention the excellent Kimchi? No? Well, their Kimchi was surprisingly tasty. On a scale of one to five, The Brazen Hen gets a ten.

We went 2 nights ago, I had the lemon chicken pasta dish, it was outstanding! Once again never a disappointment! Our bartender was great, I forget her name, but my wife knows her well.
