Meatcake with more pastries than meat! Pork belly just about sufficient, small part. Really poor and too expensive. Waitress was pleasant. Will not go back in the near future. View all feedback.
Great improvement from our last visit. the only thing that surprised me was our bottle wein at the height of £65 before us. but no offer to taste or pour the wine.

The meal we had was really nice. the feeling was right for our Christmas dinner. we had been looking forward to our Christmas dinner and coming together and everything was as we hoped. Thank you.
Very nice restaurant for christmas furnished. but a little cool. also 2 families who sat very close to us had very loud children who were never asked to keep the noise, which makes our conversation difficult. even though we didn't complain. the service was quite slow, although the place was not busy. also a small coffee with a little cake was expensive at £5.25 especially when we were charged more £1 for a tiny pot of custard!
Our dinner went well, we really enjoyed our evening in the rustic restaurant and quiet Sunday evening. The service was as expected from the pub restaurant setting, though I was disappointed that my wife could not get her chosen cod fish and chips as the waitress said they have run out of fish! That put a bit of blemish to otherwise a good meal. The roast meal which we ordered were deliciously prepared, ooze with gravy and piping hot, furthermore the portion size was generous, so that was very welcoming as we have prepared ourselves since early for a sumptuous meal While the ambience was equally welcoming, we were seated by the window that has a bit of cold drought. And just behind where my wife sat, there was a water leakage from the ceiling which appeared to have a temporary solution with a bucket. Not what I have expected but better this than a wet puddle on the floor Ohh the seating cushion must have taken a bit of beating as the cover had started to peel off rather horribly. It was not the best sight but it you can look past that, the overall experience was above average. I do hope the management will take drastic measure to fix the leak and re-condition the sofa to make it even more inviting before the festive season kick in First timer from Biggin Hill
