To this day. Roast beef came dry and cold. I could say before it sent the table back. Odd would send this to customers. Second step was better, but still dry meat was brown throughout the way. Cauliflower cheese (extra secondary dish) was simply cooked with a tasteless cream sauce. Yorkshire Pud was burned and smoked. Too bad when we've been a few times recently and every other time the food was great. View all feedback.
What Darrin McCullough doesn't like about The Aperfield Inn:
We ordered two dishes at 7:30pm only to be told they were the last two left. We tried the king prawn, lobster, and chorizo linguine, but there was no lobster or chorizo in it. The prawns were average, not king-sized. The portion size was very small, enough to feed a small child. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. View all feedback.

The place was very cozy and very busy. However, the employees were well organised and very professional. The food was okay, but not big burgers and fish overcooked. Children loved their food, but Desserts were good. The waitress was very friendly, but it felt like the place was short occupied. Nice place, but probably needs a little less on the menu, but on the higher standards.

I would except dissapointing that we were overcharged for 3 desserts we didnt have. Although when we realsised this once rechecked the bill at home and rang the restaurant and they said sorry and would reinburse it meant we had to travel and spend patrol money and time wasted in getting money owed.
The meal was just average, but it was ruined by the terrible roast potatoes. They were not crispy as described on the menu, and apart from a few burnt spots, they didn't seem roasted at all. However, the waitress provided good service.
