The cheese steak had m... read more They are only getting one star because zero stars is not possible. I ordered a Philly Cheese Steak as listed on the menu, no alterations. The cheese steak had minimal meat on it (not a huge issue) but it was smothered in mayonnaise, raw onions and peppers. Clearly no one from Subway has ever had a real Philly Cheese Steak. I detected no cheese, maybe because of the excessive amount of mayo. There should be ZERO mayonnaise on a Cheese steak! Anyway, it was a total waste of money. It's not like I had great expectations from Subway anyway but everything else in my podunk town was closed so I gave it a shot. A one and done.

I stopped in to grab some snacks and lunch before heading over Medano Pass and ordered a sandwich from the Subway section of the gas station. The staff were friendly and efficient, but overall, the quality of Subway's food has declined. I ordered a ham, turkey, and Swiss/provolone sandwich on Italian herbs and cheese, topped with some veggies and sauce. Unfortunately, there was way too much bread compared to the amount of ingredients. I doubt that adding "fresh sliced" to Subway's tagline will improve business. There are definitely better options for subs and sandwiches out there, which is unfortunate since Subway is the only quick sandwich shop in the area.

The staff, particularly Maddie and the blonde associate, were unfriendly and dismissive towards my fiancé and me. It made for an unpleasant atmosphere. When we received our meals, the pizza was cold, and my sandwich, which I specifically requested to be double toasted, also arrived cold. When I brought this to their attention, they were dismissive and rude. I feel that this situation needs to be addressed, as I left feeling that both my time and money were wasted due to their poor service.

Each every time I've been at this Subway they have been consistently great all around from the taste of the food, as to the friendly efficient manner with customers.
