Angelone's - Westbrook

I was disappointed to see the Washington Ave. location in Portland close down because the staff there were always incredibly cheerful and welcoming, especially when I helped clear the parking lot during the winter. I have to admit, I was spoiled with their delicious fresh pepper soup every storm! The team at the Westbrook location truly exceeded my expectations. It’s rare these days to walk into a place and feel like part of the family. They are friendly, courteous, offer great prices, and in my opinion, make the best pizza north of Boston! Keep up the fantastic work, and thank you for making me feel like family!

The pizza here is quite old, but it’s worth mentioning that there are no hair issues with their food. This place primarily serves pizza, chips, and soda. They only accept cash, which can be inconvenient if you're short on funds. Where else can you find a pizza for just $7 in Portland? They've been in business since the 1940s, supporting these true entrepreneurs all these years. Parking is usually easy, and there’s also the option to dine indoors.

We ordered a large thin-crust pizza topped with anchovies, onions, and jalapeños to take home, and my wife and I both agreed that it was the best pizza we've had since moving to Maine. The price was reasonable as well. This has become our new go-to pizza spot. The staff was very friendly too!

Great pizza, friendly staff and CASH ONLY. Not a problem if you plan ahead and it's definitely worth the extra effort, so do yourself a favor and get some extra cash next time you are at the grocery store.
