Great atmosphere and ambiance. The setting for outdoor dining-along the river with a wonderful deck and patio-makes for a wonderful summer dining experience. Our waiter was excellent. What John Yiaw doesn't like about Sapporo Restaurant:
I wasn't excited about coming back to this restaurant, but my son really wanted to. Just like my previous experience, the food was just average and overpriced. The vegetables in our shrimp teriyaki were delicious, but the shrimp were small and tough. I wouldn't recommend it. The food was forgettable. I won't be returning, as there are plenty of other places that I find more enjoyable. View all feedback.
Server was Yoshi and he was very friendly and helpful. Suggested items and went over the menu with a friend who was new to the cuisine.
Good sushi. And good variety of rolls. Have had better but will keep this on the list of places to go.

Sometimes I just don't want to go into Allston or Cambridge for Korean food so we decide to try going in the other direction.
