My husband and I tried the chicken and lamb tip kabobs. Amazing flavor. The food is pricey, but for good reason. It is clean and fresh with large portions of meat, rice, and vegetables. My husband picked up our takeout order and said that the person who took our order was super friendly and excited about nearly all menu items being allergen free! What Joshua Jakob doesn't like about Chop Kabob:
I liked the seasoned fries and baklava but the shirazi salad and falafel was too bland for my taste. The staff was welcoming and listened to my food feedback and I appreciated that. I wish my salad, falafel, and fries could have been in one plate with smaller portions at a lower price. I spent about $28 including a can of soda with my choices only available a la carte. Food was incredible! Lamb wrap was a perfect lunch. Super fresh. Love the packets of sumac.
The service was excellent, and the food was decent. I would consider going back again.
I really enjoyed the seasoned fries and baklava, but I found the shirazi salad and falafel a bit too bland for my liking. The staff was friendly and receptive to my feedback about the food, which I really appreciated. I wish that my salad, falafel, and fries could all be served on one plate in smaller portions and at a lower price point. I ended up spending around $28, which included a can of soda, as everything was offered a la carte. Despite that, I still left a tip when I paid in advance. The restroom was clean and well-stocked. The pink secret sauce that came with my fries made them even tastier. According to Par, who works there, their falafel is made to accommodate allergy-friendly customers, so that might explain why it didn't taste as I expected.
The food is good, but the lamb shank portions seem to get smaller each day. I also wish the atmosphere were a bit more pleasant.
And that is a plus for me since I cannot have dairy The chicken was very tender and seasoned to perfection. Most pieces of lamb tip were tender, but some were a little dry. Overall, amazing food and we both were super happy with it. We will be back for sure!
