Couldn't have been a more random visit, but what a great one! We were exhausted from our morning on the Lake and looking for anything not burgers when we found this place. The food is fresh, delicious and elegantly prepared and the prices are reasonable. Our waitress was awesome! My son wants to add that "their food is da best especially when you have been sitting in a boat for 5 hours!" :3 View all feedback.
What Katelyn Guest doesn't like about Ginza Sushi:
Talk about disappointment! Being coming to Ginza for the last 10 years. We only ever get sushi from here and tonight was just awful. None of the rolls held up whatsoever. It just created a piled mess. Was very disappointed with the response I received as well and wouldn't compensate us in anyway as we had already brought it home and waited 30 mins to eat it. I have been coming here for years..however after my experience this evening will not be returning. My food was soggy inedible, we felt like an inconvenience to the servers and when I explained I could not eat the food I was ignored was still charged for it even though there had obviously been one bite out of it. This place used to be one of the best around, sadly no longer.
It’s okay. Not something to get hype about. Menu says you can substitute items, etc but it will cost . Upon asking, waitress tells us the server will help us with this question. She tells us they can’t substitute anything. Why even have that written on ur menu if that’s not an option. We waited over 40+ mins for our mediocre food, that later upset our stomachs. If you’re gonna order here, order online or through skip the dishes or whatever 3rd party app. Those customers seem to get served before dine ins.
Always amazing to have dinner here. Celina and Mako are the best. Delicious and creative sushi with the best service ever!
Staff was friendly.. But by far the worst sushi in Kelowna/west Kelowna. Poorly made sushi, that tasted like it had been left in the fridge for days. The avocado they used was also completely brown. $60 thrown in the trash
