ZUBU RAMEN (West Van)They have a lunch special that’s not bad!I got the Tonkatsu Kuro with THICK noodles. Broth is great, but the pork Chashu is inconsistent compared to the Metrotown one. The Metrotown one was fattier and juicier and more flavorful. this one I had at Park Royal was meh. Also the dining atmosphere at Metrotown is better!Otherwise it was still a tasty meal ? ? What Jackie k doesn't like about Zubu Ramen Park Royal:
The tonkotsu Kuro's pork broth was not as rich as typical tonkotsu broth, but it was still decent. The spicy version was on the milder side. The tonkotsu shiro's chicken broth was light and flavorful, and the noodles were cooked perfectly "al dente." We ordered the ramen combo, which included a house salad and gyoza, but unfortunately the waitress forgot to bring out the gyoza initially. It was ready at the same time... View all feedback.
I would have given this restaurant 0 stars if I could! My mom and I walked into the establishment for lunch, but we were ignored for over 5 minutes. A server eventually approached us and instructed us to continue waiting because the manager said so, despite there being plenty of empty tables. I politely asked if we could sit down to look at the menu while we waited, but the answer was a cold 'NO'. It became apparent that our time was being wasted, so we decided to leave and we will not be returning to any location of this chain restaurant. Beware of this place.

We ordered the ramen combo, which included a house salad and gyoza, but unfortunately the waitress forgot to bring out the gyoza initially. It was ready at the same time as the ramen, and we had to ask for it. We also had to remind her to bring us water. The restaurant was not very crowded, but it seemed like they were prioritizing takeout orders over dine-in guests. There was ample parking available in the outdoor mall parking lot.
I give this restaurant 4 stars for flavor, 1 star for overall experience, 1 star for value for money, and 0 stars for the actual ramen noodles. The broth soup was flavorful but had only 3 thinly sliced pieces of meat for $22, which seemed overpriced. The noodles were poor quality, claiming to be thin but felt thick and dense like undercooked spaghetti. The male server with long hair had an unpleasant attitude. Overall, there are better ramen restaurants elsewhere and I do not recommend this one.

Delicious ramen, great service, my food take just 5 mins to be served.
