Nishiki Sushi Restaurant

Nishiki Sushi, run by Chinese management, offers a clean and elegant dining area with a peaceful atmosphere. While there weren't many customers dining in, they had a constant flow of take-out orders. The two chefs seemed to be struggling to keep up with the high volume of orders.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. It wasn't too crowded, which was nice. I highly recommend trying the Nishiki Special Roll. We were lucky to have been delayed by traffic and discovered this hidden gem of a restaurant.

There is no doubt that this restaurant is the top sushi spot in West Virginia.

This is the best japenese restruarent on the north shore. We have gone numerous times. It seems to be pretty busy and it would be wise to make a reservation.

At first I was not sure because the decor has a 'neglected ' look about it, and the staff is no longer Japanese, but the food says it all. It was excellent! They replaced my farmed salmon with wild salmon upon asking, for a reasonable price difference. I had a bento box with sashimi, sushi, teriyaki chicken, soup and tempura for 14.50 plus 2.00 for the salmon upgrade. And it was all good. The hot was hot, the cold was cold. The sashimi was thick. The waitress kept my green tea topped up. I will go back there.
