This spot is great if you Iive in Caulfeild area or further out to Horseshoe Bay. The sushi is good, not Super good but decent. They are super busy at lunch with the high school students mid week, but dinner you can usually get a table View all feedback. What User likes about Mikado Sushi Japanese:
This place is fantastic! The food is out of this world, fresh as could be and prepared very quickly. The Bento boxes are especially good value. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is the awful music that they play at way to high a volume level for such a small room.........japanese elevator/ rock........yeucch! View all feedback.

Mikado Sushi in the Caulfield area offers good, though not exceptional sushi. Prices may seem high for basic sushi, possibly due to its location in a strip mall. While some lament the decline in food quality and service since new owners took over, others praise the fresh, fantastic food and speedy service. The Bento boxes are particularly recommended. The restaurant may be hard to find for non-locals, but its innovative rolls and exceptional rice make it a hidden gem. Note that as of July 7th, 2015, Mikado Sushi has permanently closed.
