Handi Cuisine of India - West Vancouver

Have eaten here a few times while visiting the family in the opposite and have never been disappointed. eating is very tasty and the atmosphere in the restaurant is very relaxed. very friendly staff. they would be highly recommended!

Great curries last night in this restaurant. Very large portions of rice and good curry portion. We had the chicken kara and the murgh vindaloo. Both were delicious. It was early evening and the restaurant was quiet so can't comment on the atmosphere. The service was friendly and efficient.

The weekend buffet is good and there are several choices. I would go there again. It is a very quiet restaurant but nicely laid out.

We arrived early, enjoyed excellent service and food. In addition to taste and freshness, the mood is very pleasant and the serviceware extra nice. Basic bar.

I went to the West Van Handi with some relatives for dinner, and the experience was less than satisfactory. Two of the four meals that were served to us were not good (one was inedible, and in the second the prawns were half raw). Comments to the waiter elicited nothing more than a shrug. This is quite unusual, as meals at the Handi on Denman in the past have been excellent--some of the best Indian food we have had. However, stick to the Denman location and avoid the West Van location at ALL COSTS!
