Today was our first day in Toronto and we stumbled upon Kinka, which had great reviews and was conveniently located just a block away. We absolutely loved it! We would give it a solid five stars! The food was top notch, with an A+ rating. View all feedback.
What Eulah Pollich doesn't like about Bottom Line Restaurant:
We stopped in before a leafs game, we never had a chance to eat. They served the dirtiest beer glasses I've ever seen. The manager had said they don't wash there dishes it goes threw a professional machine. It was a horrible excuse. I never write reviews but this place needed one. Don't go there people. I was there for lunch with my brother. He told me that he had been there 8 years ago and that it was bigger and substantially louder that he remembered. I do not know about bigger , but it sure was loud. Probably not the best place to go for conversation.I found the service adequate , but must confess that I was pleasantly pleased with the food. We both had the fish and chips ( one piece ; can also get two , but the one piece was sufficient). The fish was perfectly cooked and nicely breaded. The home fries were yummy. I am not a big sports bar fan , but found this place more than acceptable for lunch.
Average food. Great wait staff. The food was average at best. But the drink selection was great. Lots of TVs for sports. Great scene.

There are a lot of options when it comes to dining in downtown Toronto, so we were surprised at the poor level of service and poor quality of food here. I ordered a chicken sandwich, and I'm not exaggerating when I say that the piece of chicken that arrived was no bigger than 2" x 2", and maybe 1/4 inch thick. I'm not one to complain normally, but this was absurd enough that I brought it to the attention of the waitress. Her reply? "Yeah, that's just the way it comes", before turning and walking away. I get that ordering pub food so close to the Air Canada Centre is going to cost a bit more than it otherwise might, but $18 for a chicken sandwich that only comes with 1 ounce of chicken is a rip-off by any standard. We then found out when the bill came that these guys also charge for pop refills for the kids. Fool me once ... we won't be going back. This does explain why the place was half-empty on a Raptors game night though- I suspect many of the other restaurants were packed full.
The interior is pretty sterile and while the servers are welcoming, it becomes evident very quickly that they could care less about about the enjoyment of your visit. The menu is limited but has some interesting items on it. Unfortunately, the taste of the food doesn't bear up to the menu description. My fish tacos had nothing but the taste of raw onion to them - good value, I guess, as they "repeated" with me the rest of the day. The bottom Line: there are far better sports bars in downtown Toronto.
