We were in Toodyay for the weekend and decided to try The Vintage Dining room for Friday night dinner. Hubby and I had deep fried camembert and spring rolls for entree (both 'melt in your mouth ' delicious). Mains we chose grilled fish with prawns (it came with 3 different salads and pub chips on the side) and a rib eye steak which was the best steak I 've eaten since we were on Hayman Island. What Kathleen Davey doesn't like about The Vintage Dining Room Toodyay:
The lunch was very disappointing in flavour and quality. The lamb was so chewy and fatty that three people that ordered it could only eat a quarter of the meat. My chicken Kiev was over cooked burnt. We mentioned this to the young waitress however she was unable to respond to our comments as she wasn’t the cook. Our recommendation is that you dine in the town of Toodyay. View all feedback.
Absolutely amazing place ..where you can book to stay the night or just come up and relax ..and have a brilliant cooked meal or salad ..or dessert..coffee,and milkshakes ..Yum , thankyou to Kiss Katering
It is always a delightful experience dining at this restaurant, whether you are enjoying a traditional Devonshire tea, a three-course meal, or some delicious takeaway fish and chips.
The restaurant offers delicious food in a charming rural setting.
Amazing and affordable food friendly people every time I have been
This was a surprising quaint, homey little restaurant just outside of town in Toodyay. You get to dine with a view of green hills and farmlands around! Food was great and well-priced. Resto is kid-friendly they even prepared and laid out toys for my little one. The two ladies who run the restaurant were very pleasant. This place is a must for dining and a great Toodyay experience!
