What CiderandBeer doesn't like about The Queens Head:
Visited here for lunch, pub not too busy but had to wait a long time for the food. The lady behind the bar was not particularly welcoming and we felt it was an inconvenience ordering food. When the food did arrive the scampi was over cooked and burnt and one plate was missing the peas and we had no tartar sauce. We didn't want to send it back as we were all so hungry from waiting. Maybe just an off day but will proba... View all feedback. What Alice Taylor likes about The Queens Head:

read moreDespite receiving mixed reviews, this family pub seems to be a hit with certain patrons. Some experienced issues with the carvery, including underwhelming food and rude service. However, others praised the delicious roast dinner and highly recommended the pub. The atmosphere was described as family-friendly and welcoming. The carvery offered a selection of meats and vegetables, with thick gravy. Some noted noise from darts and snooker in the background. Overall, the pub received positive feedback for its food quality, friendly staff, and inviting environment, making it a worthwhile spot for a meal in the Minehead area.
