What User doesn't like about Kingston's Clam:
Wait for appetizers over an hour. The appetizers and ducks were terrible; no taste. The waitress never came to our table to check; we had to ask several times for napkins, drinks, etc. I felt like we forgot. When I lived nearby, this was the right place for a great meal on the water, or just a few cold after fishing or crabs of local Docs. During a recent visit I was very pleased that the food quality and atmosphere were just as good as I remember. Friendly waiting staff. Large special drink menu and beer selection. At a time when many places (understood) give less for more, it is great to see a local restaurant thrive and still offer a great value. I look forward to being back soon!

I never give negative restaurant reviews, but that guarantees one. I'll never go back or recommend it.
I'm here several times and spent a lot of money here. The food was very good, but for the price it is difficult to eat from plastic dishes and use plastic utensils. I'm not asking for a white glove service from a fish dock restaurant. I could have been happier. The views are hidden from a lack of glossy terrace area with Stockade Fencing.
The lobster rolls at Kingston's are tastier and more affordable than the ones I recently had at The Lobster Roll AKA Lunch in Amagansett. At Kingston's, the roll comes with Fritten or Cole Slaw, but I requested a side salad and received it at no extra cost. However, I did have to wait around 20 minutes for my order to arrive and the service was lacking as the servers were not very attentive. My glass of Seltzer was never refilled and I had to search for a server to bring me the check. On a positive note, Kingston's is one of the few restaurants that actually serves steamers. Make sure to arrive early to secure a parking spot as it fills up quickly. During my visit on 7/17/21, I tried the cold lobster roll with a little Mayo on request and squeezed fresh lemon on it, which was incredibly delicious. The service was much better this time, so I am upgrading my previous rating from four stars to five.
The lobster roll was incredible! It was definitely worth it and the best one I've had while in town. The atmosphere was good, prices were great, and there were plenty of menu options depending on what you're in the mood for.
