Contribute FeedbackKarma and Crow, a once highly praised local cafe, seems to have lost its appeal for many patrons. The food quality and options have declined, and the coffee, known for being below average, has not improved over time. Some even report being asked to leave due to a lack of available tables. Despite the decline in food and coffee quality, the atmosphere is still considered to be great, with friendly staff and a vibrant ambiance. The cafe's potential is overshadowed by its high prices, dry hotcakes, and lack of flavor in their dishes. While some have had positive experiences with the food and service, others have complained of long wait times, disorganized staff, and loud music. Despite mixed reviews, some guests were impressed by the staff's hospitality and willingness to accommodate their needs. Overall, Karma and Crow appears to have lost its consistency and appeal, leaving many patrons with a sense of disappointment.
I have been here several times and I have had the same dish each time ,it is that good. The dish has in house made pita bread ,eggs, jalapeño pepper, avocado, chorizo ,cherry tomato, and a chutney The chef has thought what flavours work together and tried this dish out...first .It is definitely a winner. Always fantastic service ,friendly staff.Never disappoints.
Come for brunch as we often drive past and it is alway busy which we assumed to be a good sign. Breakfast menu as interesting and we had chickpea pancakes and minted pea and halloumi. Both were yummy, especially the peas with pickled ginger etc....Coffees (we has 3 and they all were) only luke warm which is opportunity for improvement and would prefer they didn’t poach their eggs in cling wrap. Fancy yes but environment no! Venue was nice and fun, staff efficient at taking orders, but no real warmth. Note: it was bust at Sat 10am with 20-25mins wait.
This cafe is a well hidden treasure on Richmond Rd offering a creative menu. My gnocchi with blue cheese and garlic bread was a delicious taste experience. Even though you can't make a booking the 20 minute wait in the sun as we read the...menu passed pleasantly.
We came for lunch on a recommendation but won't be going back. Blonde girl was super grumpy and rude. Overall the vibe was noisy and elitist.
This place is completely gorgeous...the staff, coffee and food included. We shared the dumplings, the gnocchi and the hotcakes, all very lovely with nice flavours and textures. They also sell preloved clothing and some other goodies too WILL BE BACK ASAP!
