It deserves a higher urban spoon rating!! I was thoroughly impressed with these guys. The food was fantastic and our waitress was brilliant (which is very difficult to find in Perth) I dine out too regularly and due to urbanspoon rating I didn't have high expectations for Black Toms- we loved it. I went with two other guys one who like me loves good food and the other would eat anything lol. But we would all go back.... View all feedback.
What Gage Schultz doesn't like about Black Tom's:
I used to hear that this bar/ restaurant was THE PLACE to be in West Perth. However, recently a number of visits have left me disappointed. There are hardly any people inside the venue and no real atmosphere. It's good for a beer or wine...and there is reasonable choices cocktail wise (all at standard expensive prices for drinks in Perth). Perfect location, more comfortable place to have a beer with workmates and after-work! this was not my first time at black tom’s, at an earlier occasion I had a meal at lunchtime and it was a great price for a pub lunchtime!
I haven't been here for ever, so I met a friend of mine to lunch I had a half portion squid absolutely delicious and my friend had an salat pleny parking
More popular place, seemingly a pub, but with above average pub eating. a bit loud, like most of restaurants, but lively atmosphere, with many energetic people in a lively talk. I eat less than most, I guess, and what I ordered was something more than what I wanted. but my waiter offered good advice, I think it's just my easy eating habits that don't match what most big Aussie-Blokes like to eat! I came back a bit later for drinks and nibbles with friends, and they all enjoyed eating and wein — even a few coffee martinis that were completely new to me! good place, well located when they are in this opposite of perth. easy to get over the red cat of perth underground.
Friendly and welcoming staff, and also some beautiful beer. charming location on a rather green part of the city. very nice, and also quite quiet.
Amazing array of cakes. A little expensive, worth buying whole cake but a great experience. Enjoyable with family and service was good
