Went in to grab a quick drink before they closed 4 people in there and 1 barmaid who didn't even look up from her phone so no greeting or anything so we walked straight back out again and went to another pub which was more welcoming View all feedback.

Absolutely no complaints, very friendly management and staff, good selection of Ales, and a quite varied, and relatively for Oxfordshire reasonably priced meals. The meals were all excellent, hot and very tasty. I had the prawn cocktail for starters and it was amazing, almost a meal in itself, when I have been to other places, and have counted barely 6 prawns in the concoction. So all in all good value for money. A very enjoyable evening, in a lovely public house. We will certainly come again.
Great food, very friendly staff and brilliant with the dogs. All round a lovely pub although the garden is not very pretty but if you want good food and good service then this is the place!
A group of four friends visiting the area for a few days decided to have Sunday lunch at this restaurant without knowing anything about it. The staff were very friendly, the meal was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. My husband couldn't choose a dessert, so he asked them to surprise him. He ended up with Sal's sticky toffee pudding and he loved it so much that he finished every last bit in the bowl. We would definitely come back to this restaurant if we are in the area again.
We held a family gathering here. The food was very typically 'pub food ', but it was what we wanted, and was very good. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, and we really enjoyed our time there
