I picked up a takeout order from this restaurant and selected one of the chef's mild curries with egg rice and garlic naan. They had my order ready in just 20 minutes and it was delicious and well-cooked. The staff member who served us was very polite. I will definitely be using this restaurant again. What Steven Blair doesn't like about Five Ways Takeaway:
Quite possibly the worst Indian I have ever had. It all tastes the same (which is nothing) would never get again. Currently ordering a Chinese as it was inedible. Waste of £40. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 View all feedback.
Terrible experience. Everything arrived cold, including chewy poppadoms and chicken curries that tasted off. Cut into a piece of chicken and it was black inside. Couldn't eat any more and had to throw it away. Currently trying to get a refund from Just Eat. Overall rating: Food 1, Service 1, Atmosphere 1. Delivery meal for dinner, costing £10-20 per person.
This restaurant was a very expensive disappointment. It was the worst Indian takeaway I have ever had, and to make matters worse, the prices were comparable to those of a sit-down restaurant. The meals were lacking in substance and all tasted very similar. On the bright side, the delivery was prompt. I would never use or recommend this place again. I have had bad takeout before, but this one is at the bottom of the list. It is clear that the quality has declined since it was under new management. They need to improve their cooking skills. I was really impressed with the variety of dishes we ordered for our group of 9 people - they were all delicious. Some particular standouts were the brinjal, made with real long soft Asian aubergines that were simply delicious, and the green masala chicken, which apparently isn't on the new menu but was a delightful surprise. The daal, bhindi, and disc dishes were also very good. I highly recommend this restaurant.

What a pleasant surprise! We ordered food for camping delivery and were not expecting much in terms of quality. However, we were very pleased with our order. The variety of dishes was great and they were all delicious. The delivery driver was friendly as well. We will definitely be returning. Plus, we used their app to receive a 20% discount and the delivery was on time. Great experience overall!
