Manor - West Orange

I can't say enough about The Manor! The staff is AWESOME! They go out of there way and treat you like royalty! The food is incredible! I can't thank everyone at The Manor enough. They made our wedding day forever memorable!

It was a great place and I will miss it. Wonderful memories and gorgeous scenery both inside and out.

For whatever reason, I always think of Billy Joel 's Scenes From An Italian Restaurant when I think of the soon to be closing, The Manor in West Orange, New Jersey. Over the years countless Brenda and Eddies have conga lined through their nuptials and sweated right though their rented powder blue tuxes, cutting cake and tossing garters to legions of unfortunate bridesmaids who really never got around to waxing their upper lips. I 've been to many weddings here (including my own) and always thought of this joint as the ultimate paisan palace where more than one animated discussion around the moral imperatives of The Godfather took place over anisette and Cannoli. My marriage went out of business long before The Manor but for the Brenda and Eddies everywhere, I 'm just sorry to see the old place go. Do me a favor... leave the gun, take the Cannoli.

After 66 years, The Manor is finally closing after July 5, 2023. Through the decades, I've gone here many times with friends and family for buffets, dinners, weddings... Each time has been a flawless event with first class service, food and elegant ambiance! It's a real must see before it closes! The Manor will sorely be missed!

I went to The Manor for a friends wedding last month. It was absolutely beautifully decorated inside! Cocktail hour was amazing!!!! They had every kind of food you could think of!! I will say it was quite crowded and not many seats. The dinner was just ok. And it was quite disappointing that there wasn't enough desserts for everyone. I'm not sure if that's due to the bride and groom or if someone from the venue thought it would be enough but it definitely wasn't. I will say though that the staff was very friendly.
