Terrible customer service. I strongly recommend avoiding this place. The food tasted like it had soap in it. I had a very unpleasant experience here.

I recently stumbled upon a hidden gem in West Orange, NJ – Folklore Artisanal Taco – and it quickly became my favorite spot for authentic, delicious tacos. From the moment I stepped inside, I was welcomed by Sonya, who greeted me with a warm smile and exceptional kindness while taking orders. Her attentiveness and insightful recommendations enhanced my delightful experience. Following her suggestion, I decided to try the shrimp tacos, which were absolutely delicious. Each taco was generously filled with perfectly cooked shrimp, wrapped in a soft corn tortilla, and topped with fresh onions and cilantro or mixed cabbage. The accompanying salsa verde and aioli added a fantastic burst of flavor to each bite. With four tacos per order, it was a satisfying and hearty meal. The guacamole and chips were another highlight of my visit; the guacamole was fresh and flavorful, perfectly complemented by the crispy chips. To finish off the meal, I enjoyed a refreshing hibiscus water, which paired wonderfully with the savory tacos and guacamole. Folklore Artisanal Taco is truly a standout destination, boasting fantastic food, a warm atmosphere, and exceptional service. I've seen positive and negative reviews. All positive from me. Food was great and the service, excellent. My only issue was no air conditioning at 90 degree weather.

Loved my lunch here! I wish I had gone with some friends or family so I could have sampled more. That being said, I loved my tacos, they came quickly and were absolutely delicious. ? I will be returning
