What User likes about Yang Sing:
Since the new owners took over, it took some time for them to hit their stride with the food. But now, it's consistently improving. I recently ordered the BBQ spare ribs and they were amazing. The meat just fell off the bone. It was the best ribs I've ever had, and I've tried quite a few! View all feedback. What June J doesn't like about Yang Sing:
Chinese takeaways in West Lothian are generally not very good, Ho's kitchen stands out from the crowd by failing to meet even this very low bar. Their sweet and sour chicken (Cantonese style) was nothing but blobs of batter, no discernable chicken, in the single worst sweet and sour sauces I've ever had, it was inedible and so sweet as to be verging on toxic. read moreIn the competitive landscape of West Lothian's Chinese takeaways, some establishments struggle to deliver a satisfactory experience. While one local restaurant has gained a reputation for inconsistency, it has also shown signs of improvement under new ownership, particularly with their popular BBQ spare ribs. However, frustrations abound with issues like excessive wait times, rude customer service, and disappointing food quality. Diner reviews reveal a divided opinion on certain dishes, with some praising specific items while others lament soggy offerings or a lack of ingredients. Overall, while there are glimpses of potential, the takeaway scene remains a hit-or-miss affair.
